Job summary

Reddy Ice is hiring a full-time CDL A delivery driver to transport ice to customer locations in Longview, TX. You will operate in articulated vehicles, maintain safety standards, and support loading and unloading activities.

You must have a high school diploma or GED and a current Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Overtime and weekend work may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

This position delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL class A license. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs.

Education & Experience Required

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a current/valid class A CDL license
• Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required

Education & Experience Preferred

• Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Must be able to drive in stressful environments. Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes. Required to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day. Required to work in all weather conditions. Weekend, night, and holiday work is a requirement of the position. Will perform work in retail stores; frequently driving between retail stores and plant location. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
