Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver in Eugene to support our Transportation team. You will deliver orders to customers and ensure accurate loading, safe handling, and timely service, while upholding company values of teamwork and excellence.

The role demands reliability, safety awareness, and strong organizational skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and route efficiency within a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least six months related experience driving tractor trailer field and/or training.
• Valid CDL Class A is required.

Responsibilities

• Efficient Operations: Picking and packing orders; Drive and deliver orders to customers; Load and unload products; Configure routes to improve service levels.
• Quality and Compliance: Verify order for correct products; Ensure all paperwork is completed; Load goods safely; Ensure load is secured; Return shipping documents to Transportation Manager; Maintain vehicle cleanliness; Represent the company positively; Address and resolve customer problems.

The Delivery Driver – Class A at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Transportation team supporting efforts to ensure total customer satisfaction through complete and reliable delivery service. This position involves handling products carefully and delivering them in a timely manner to the correct destination and is ideal for someone who is reliable, safety conscious, and has strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Efficient Operations:
   • Picking and packing orders.
   • Drive and deliver orders to customers.
   • Load and unload products.
   • Configure routes when necessary to help improve service levels to customers.
2. Quality and Compliance:
   • Verify order to ensure correct products loaded.
   • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
   • Ensure goods are loaded into trucks in a safe and logical order.
   • Make sure the load is properly secured.
   • Return all shipping documents to Transportation Manager on completion of deliveries.
   • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to manager.
   • Represent the company in a positive manner in all customer interactions.
   • Address and resolve customer problems, as appropriate.

What you bring to Pacific Seafood

Education and Experience

• Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of six months related experience driving tractor trailer field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid CDL Class A.
• Preferred
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Microsoft Teams knowledge.
