Job summary

C.R. England is seeking CDL-A drivers for a coast-to-coast team driving role. You will pick up freight in Gilroy, CA and deliver to distribution centers across IL, MI, OH, NJ, MA, GA and FL, then return loads to California.

This position involves no-touch refrigerated freight and home time every other week. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, be 21 or older, and have at least 3 months of recent Class A CDL experience. Drivers must reside within 100 miles of Gilroy or Colton, CA.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• Drivers must live within 100 miles of Gilroy, CA or Colton, CA.

Responsibilities

• Operate coast-to-coast routes in a team driving setup.
• Handle live loads and deliveries with no-touch refrigerated freight.
• Return trips back to California after distribution center drops.

From Gilroy, CA all the way to distribution centers in the Midwest, the Northeast and the Southeast, this team lane covers the country and then brings you back to California with a return load. You and your co-driver run no-touch refrigerated freight for the Christopher Ranch dedicated account.

Loads are live load and live unload, and you're home every other week. It's steady, coast-to-coast work for experienced CDL-A drivers who like running as a team.

Pick up freight in Gilroy, CA

Deliver to distribution centers in IL, MI, OH, NJ, MA, GA and FL

Return loads head back to CA

No-touch refrigerated freight

Live load and live unload

Home Time:

Home every other week

Drivers in Southern CA report to the Colton, CA terminal and will need their own way to get there and back

Equipment:

Company-provided tandem-axle sleeper trucks with Automatic transmissions

53' refrigerated trailers
