Job Title: Truck Driver

To operate company-owned and leased gasoline or diesel-powered semi-tractor trailers. The role involves transporting and delivering products, materials, or equipment in loose or packaged form. The following are the essential duties and responsibilities:

1. Perform required inspections of the truck, trailer, and equipment, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
2. Drive the truck into position for loading or unloading.
3. Verify the load against shipping papers.
4. Drive the truck to the destination.
5. Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
6. Prepare receipts for loads picked up.
7. Collect payment for goods delivered and delivery charges when directed.
8. Maintain the truck log according to state and federal regulations.
9. Maintain telephone or radio contact with the supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
10. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
