Job summary

99 Ranch Market is hiring a Class A Driver in Union City, CA to safely transport goods to stores and distribution centers. The role requires a valid Class A license, a current DOT medical certificate, and a clean DMV record.

You will perform loading/unloading tasks, maintain paperwork, and ensure DOT compliance. The position offers full-time hours, weekend/holiday availability, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A Driver License without restrictions and a current DOT Medical cert.
• Ability to pass a road test (manual trucks).
• At least 1 year satisfactory driving record from the CA DMV.
• 1-2 years driver experience in warehouse/logistics/shipping.
• Must read/communicate in English.
• Experience in handling product barcodes preferred.
• Experience hauling reefer trailers preferred.
• Experience with pallet jack and forklift preferred.
• Experience backing 48’ to 53’ trailers, including tight spaces and docks.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin or English/Spanish preferred.
• Availability for weekends/ holidays/ rotating schedules.
• Must pass pre-hire background check and DOT drug test.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading, storing, and securement devices to load/unload materials.

Summary:

We are looking for dedicated and professional Class A Drivers to join our team. As a key part of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods to our stores and distribution centers. The ideal candidate is a reliable and experienced driver with a clean driving record, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations.
• Inspect loads for safe transportation.
• Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport goods to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
• Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.
• Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.
• Inspect equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered or recommended.
• Operates loading, storing, and securement devices such as pallet jacks, forklifts, power pallet jacks/riders, and moving-related equipment such as dollies and lift levers to load and unload supplies, freight, foods, material, equipment, and mail.
• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.

Qualifications:

• Must have Class A Driver License without restrictions and limitations, including a current DOT Medical cert.
• Ability to pass a road test (manual trucks).
• At least 1 year satisfactory driving record as obtained from the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
• 1-2 years of driver experience in warehouse/ logistics/ shipping.
• Must possess the ability to read, understand and communicate verbally in English.
• Experience in handling product barcodes preferred.
• Experience in hauling reefer trailers is preferred.
• Experience in pallet jack and forklift is preferred.
• Experience backing 48’ to 53’ trailers (including in tight spaces and to dock doors)
• Bilingual English/Mandarin or English/ Spanish preferred.
• Available to work on weekends, holidays or rotating schedules.

Physical Requirements:

• This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.
• Prolonged sitting while driving long distances.

Compensation:
