Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Portland, ME is seeking an experienced Truck Driver (CDL A) to pick up and deliver freight between Service Centers and customers. You will support sales efforts and help ensure efficient operations.

Candidates must have at least one year of driving experience or complete a driver development program, a clean MVR, and endorsements. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits including health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with hazmat endorsements.
• At least one year of driving experience or completion of driver development program.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Basic math skills and ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations and perform daily safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers, secure cargo with straps and ropes.
• Handle freight with motorized/manual equipment and verify documentation.
• Comply with hazardous materials regulations and communicate with dispatch.
• Deliver freight between Service Centers and customers and support sales efforts.
• Maintain a safe, professional approach and provide excellent customer service.
