Job summary

SET Environmental Inc. is seeking a Class A Driver to safely transport material from customer sites to disposal and treatment facilities in compliance with DOT regulations.

You will work with SET field service personnel on various projects and perform daily inspections of equipment. You must have at least 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience with tractor trailer, Haz-Mat endorsement or ability to obtain, and be able to perform out-of-town runs and participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience with 1 year of tractor trailer experience.
• Tanker, Haz-Mat endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Ability to perform out of town runs as needed, and be available for on-call rotation.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently.
• Maintains Electronic driver's log on company provided smart phone.
• Must pass/maintain DOT medical card and physical requirements.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record that meets SET insurance requirements.

A Class A Driver at SET Environmental is responsible for:

• Safely transporting material from customer sites to disposal and treatment facilities in compliance with DOT regulations
• Ensuring the health and safety of the customer, equipment, and site by adhering to SET safety policies, and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards
• Working in tandem with SET field service personnel on various projects
• Daily inspections of equipment and supplies for project needs
• The safe operation of various types of equipment ranging from, but not limited to:
  • Roll-off trailer and straight truck
  • Vacuum and product tankers
  • 48' and 53' Dry van
  • Flatbed, lowboy trailers
  • 3000-gallon liquid vac
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Minimum 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience with 1 year of tractor trailer experience
