Job summary

European Metal Recycling Ltd. in Camden, NJ is hiring an experienced Class A CDL truck driver to cover PA, DE, and NY. Work is chiefly highway with heavy traffic; hours are 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday. This union role offers a pay of $30.63/hr and requires safety-first driving on all routes.

The driver will operate dump trailers and flatbeds, coordinate routes with Dispatch, weigh loads, and maintain professional customer interactions on-site. Outdoor work in all weather is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 1 year Class A driving experience.
• Dump trailer and flatbed experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT and state motor carrier regulations.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle tight schedules.
• Professional attitude and good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials safely to and from job sites and designated drop locations.
• Secure loads per DOT and company safety standards.
• Coordinate daily routes and assignments with Dispatch.
• Weigh loads at the yard and report trip numbers accurately.
• Deliver strong customer service when interacting with customers on-site.
• Perform other driving and yard duties as needed.

EMR is hiring an experienced Class A CDL truck driver to run out of Camden, NJ, covering Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York. Most driving is highway-based, but traffic can be heavy, so we need drivers who stay calm, safe, and professional behind the wheel.This role will be based out of Camden and typical hours are Monday through Friday 2pm to 10pm.
