Job summary

ALL Crane Rental of Georgia is seeking a Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver to transport cranes, crane components, counterweights, and heavy equipment across Georgia and the Southeast. This on-site role requires traveling for projects and joining a team delivering industry-leading crane solutions.

You will work with large lifting equipment, participate in rigging and assembly/disassembly as needed, and contribute to safe operations with strict DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to safely perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to travel throughout Georgia and the Southeast.
• Dependable, safety-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractors and specialized trailers.
• Transport cranes, crane components, counterweights, heavy equipment.
• Properly chain and secure heavy loads.
• Assist crane crews with loading/disassembly when needed.
• Maintain DOT/ELD compliance and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.

What You’ll Do

You’ll transport cranes, crane components, counterweights, lift equipment, and other specialized loads to jobsites throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest.

This is a hands‑on heavy‑haul position, not simply a driving job. Drivers may assist our crane crews with equipment loading, securement, crane assembly/disassembly, and rigging.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Operate Class A tractors and specialized trailers
• Transport cranes, counterweights, boom sections and heavy equipment
• Properly chain and secure heavy equipment
• Assist crane crews with assembly/disassembly when needed
• Maintain DOT and ELD compliance
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections
• Work safely around cranes and heavy equipment

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Acceptable driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Ability to safely perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, safety-focused attitude
• Willingness to travel throughout Georgia and the Southeast

Experience with heavy haul, multi-axle tractors, equipment hauling, rigging or crane operations is preferred — but we are willing to train the right Class A driver.

Not Coming From the Crane Industry?

Experience from equipment hauling, construction, lowboy, flatbed, ready-mix, towing/recovery, agriculture, LTL, or similar industries can translate well to this position.
