Jackson Energy Logistics is hiring experienced Class A CDL Fuel Transport Drivers to join our growing team. Local routes keep you home daily with modern equipment and comprehensive benefits.

Average pay ranges from $80,000 to $135,000 annually, plus bonuses and a 401(k) with company match. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of Class A CDL driving (tanker preferred), HazMat & Tanker endorsements, and are able to pass DOT physicals and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 23 years old
• 1 year of Class A CDL driving experience (tanker preferred)
• HazMat & Tanker endorsements
• Current Class A CDL from the state of application
• Must pass DOT physical, drug test, background check, and Jackson driving test
• No tickets or accidents in last 12 months; max 1.5 points in 3 years
• Residence within 40 miles or 1 hour drive from terminal
• Must meet physical requirements for Heavy work and safety

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-tanker to deliver fuel to store partners
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Load, transport, and unload petroleum products per DOT regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service at each stop
• Complete required paperwork and adhere to safety and compliance standards

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate a tractor-tanker combination to deliver fuel to our retail store partners
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Load, transport, and unload petroleum products in compliance with DOT regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service at every stop
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards and complete required paperwork

What We’re Looking For:

• Employees must reside within 40 miles or no more than one hour’s drive time from the terminal to which they are assigned.
• Minimum age: 23 years old
• Experience: At least 1 year of recent, verifiable Class A CDL driving (tanker preferred)
• Licensing: Current Class A CDL, from the state in which you are applying, with HazMat & Tanker endorsements
  • Must NOT be restricted to automatic transmissions
  • TWIC card required in applicable areas
• Driving record:
  • No tickets or accidents in the past 12 months
  • Maximum 1.5 points in the last 3 years
• Must pass:
  • DOT physical
  • Drug test
  • Background check
  • Jackson driving test
• Strong attention to detail and commitment tosafety and compliance
• Excellentcommunication and customer service skills

Physical Environment:

As a Fuel Transport Driver, you must be able to meet the physical demands and environmental conditions associated with the role. Must be capable of meeting the physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions including:

Ability to perform heavy work:

• Lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently
• Lift/move up to 20 lbs constantly
• Exposure to offensive odors
• High humidity conditions
• Workingaround and with heavy equipment
• Workingaround moving objects and vehicles
