Conner Industries, Inc. is a leading provider of custom wood packaging and integrated packaging solutions with 18 locations nationwide.

We are hiring a CDL driver to transport lumber and finished goods within a 150-mile radius, operate a forklift, and ensure on-time delivery while complying with all safety regulations. Responsibilities include route planning, vehicle inspection, loading/unloading, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license required.
• Bilingual not required.
• Proven truck driving and forklift experience.
• Experience delivering van and flatbed loads.
• Hands-on use of GPS/AVL units and CB radios.
• Ability to tarp loads as needed.
• Walk up to a mile daily.
• Extensive knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.

Responsibilities

• Transport lumber and finished goods on a flatbed trailer.
• Operate a forklift and assist in warehouse tasks.
• Inspect vehicles for safety issues and perform basic maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules within a 150-mile radius.
• Log work/rest periods and retain receipts.
• Comply with trucking rules and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Report defects or incidents to management promptly.
