Job summary

Bunzl plc is seeking reliable drivers to join our nationwide distribution team. You will safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, perform inspections, and deliver to customer locations with a focus on safety and service.

Applicants should have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle loading/unloading. DOT compliance knowledge, strong communication, and reliable time management are essential rewards of joining Bunzl’s fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record according to fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate various commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and submit logs and paperwork on time.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report issues to management.
