Job summary

Nagle Companies seeks an experienced CDL-A driver to handle refrigerated freight with no-touch loads across multiple states. You will drive tractor-trailers, perform pre/post inspections, and maintain delivery records while staying compliant with safety regulations.

The role emphasizes timely routes, effective communication with dispatch, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency within our Ohio-based operations.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A).
• Minimum 2 years of proven semi tractor-trailer driving experience (1 year considered).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving and cargo transportation.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.

Nagle is a refrigerated carrier based out of Walbridge, OH, where we have a full service terminal. We handle (no touch) freight for the food industry, with majority loads being drop and hook. Our operating area is in IN, MI, OH, PA, NJ, MD and NY (upstate).
