Job summary

MCG Tran in Indianapolis, IN seeks CDL drivers for full-time work focused on 75% drop and hook freight. drivers will shuttle to Chicago daily and fill local tasks within a 100 mile radius of Indianapolis, reporting to the Indianapolis terminal for dispatch.

The role starts/ends at the Indianapolis 46221 terminal, with hazmat endorsements required within 60 days of hire. PTO/holiday pay scales apply with tenure, and hazmat licensing cost is reimbursed after license is obtained.

Responsibilities

• Perform 75% drop and hook deliveries.
• Run daily from Indianapolis to Chicago and back.
• Complete local work within a 100 mile radius of Indianapolis.
• Report to Indianapolis terminal daily for dispatch and truck assignment (slip seat).
• Start and end at the Terminal location in Indianapolis IN 46221.

Job Duties:

• 75% drop and hook
• Drivers will run to Chicago and back every day. Plus fill in with Local work within a 100 mile radius of Indianapolis
• Driver will report to Indianapolis terminal daily for dispatch and truck assignment (slip seat)
• Start and end at the Terminal location in Indianapolis IN 46221

Special Requirements:

• Hazmat required within 60 days after being hired
  • Cost of Hazmat reimbursed after its on their license

Truck Info:

• Drivers will leave tractor at the yard for time off
• Drivers will slip seat
• Smoking is not permitted inside the truck
• Passengers are not permitted

PTO & Holiday Pay:

• Drivers get 18 paid days off (12 PTO days and 6 holidays)
• After 1st year - 5 years, drivers get 22 paid days off (16 PTO days 6 holidays)
• 6 - 13 years, drivers get 27 paid days off (21 PTO days 6 holidays)
• 14 - 18 years, drivers get 30 days (24 PTO days 6 holidays)
• 19+ years, drivers get 32 days (26 PTO days 6 holidays)
