Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking drivers who serve as ambassadors and essential members of the Bunzl family. The role starts early at 3am and pays 27/hr with weekly pay, delivering goods to local and long-distance customer locations while ensuring safety and customer service.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, cargo loading/unloading, and maintaining logs. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and be able to pass background checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

3am-6am Start Time | $27/hr

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
