Job summary

Montana Reclaimed Lumber Co. is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our hands-on lumber operations in Gallatin Gateway, MT.

This role combines local and regional driving with forklift operation, material handling, and yard duties as part of a tight-knit team. You’ll deliver reclaimed lumber within a 500-mile radius, perform basic truck and trailer maintenance, and help with yard production when not driving.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Clean driving record and successful pre-employment FMCSA Clearinghouse check.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
• 1–3 years general work experience; at least 1 year commercial driving.
• Experience operating trucks and trailers in varying traffic, terrain, and weather.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport reclaimed lumber and materials within a 500-mile radius using a 1-ton truck with gooseneck or day cab.
• Verify correct products loaded, secure and tarp loads, and maintain CDL compliance.
• Provide courteous delivery service and complete delivery paperwork.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Assist with yard and production duties when not driving; operate forklifts and related tools.
