Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Have at least 6 months of experience, or qualify for available training.
• Have no DUI convictions within the past 10 years, or 5 years for non-CDL holders.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• No major preventable accidents within the past 5 years.
• No serious violations within the past year.
• Be able to pass a DOT drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned tractor-trailer on local routes.
• Complete scheduled deliveries throughout the Southwest Florida operating area.
• Handle no-touch freight and live-unload deliveries as required.
• Maintain required vehicle inspections, logs and paperwork.
• Follow dispatch instructions and scheduled delivery times.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Follow DOT and company safety requirements.

Schedule & Home Time

Class A CDL Driver Responsibilities

As a Class A CDL Driver, you will:

Class A CDL Driver Requirements

To qualify, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Hold a valid Class A CDL
• Have at least 6 months of experience, or qualify for available training
• Have no DUI convictions within the past 10 years, or 5 years for non-CDL holders
• Have no more than 1 DOT-preventable loss within the past 2 years
• Have no more than 3 preventable accidents within the past 2 years
• Have no major preventable accident within the past 5 years
• Have no serious violations within the past year
• Have no more than 2 moving violations within the past 2 years
• Be able to pass a DOT physical
• Be able to pass a drug screen
• Have no drug-related convictions within the past 5 years
• Have no failed or refused drug tests within the past 10 years
• Demonstrate strong backing skills
• Be comfortable driving a night-shift schedule
