Job summary

Juniper Landscaping in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Class A CDL driver to join our landscape construction crews on high-end projects. This dual driver/crew member role involves safely operating the company truck and supporting crew on site.

The position requires CDL with at least 6 months of CDL driving and 2 years with a regular license, ability to work outdoors in heat, and lifting up to 50 lbs. You will perform vehicle inspections and help with loading/unloading materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months driving experience with an active CDL and minimum 2 years driving experience with a valid regular (Class E) driver's license.
• Must pass the mandatory CDL Clearinghouse process.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors for long periods in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating company truck and transporting crew members
• Performing daily vehicle inspections and ensuring truck/trailer are in working order and properly maintained
• Loading & unloading materials and equipment
• Working as a member of the landscape construction crew at each work site.
• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform landscape construction projects
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
