Job summary

Edge Rubber, an Ecore company, is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to safely transport finished products and pick up raw materials to meet delivery schedules. Expect consistent hours, home every weekend, and modern sleeper tractors with competitive earnings around $100,000 annually.

The ideal candidate will have a CDL-A, 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience, a clean MVR, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Class A CDL required (CDL-A).
Minimum 2 years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
Must have acceptable MVR and be able to meet DOT medical requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; work independently.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A CMV in compliance with DOT, state, and local regulations.
Deliver finished goods and pick up raw materials; ensure on-time deliveries.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; maintain logs and reports.
Load/unload freight with appropriate equipment; perform trailer swaps as needed.
Maintain accurate shipping paperwork and records for regulatory compliance.
Communicate schedules and delivery requirements with dispatch and customers.
Report accidents or equipment concerns promptly; participate in safety meetings.
