Job summary

SYGMA Columbus Team is hiring delivery drivers to safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, delivering and unloading according to invoices and company standards.

High school diploma, CDL-A, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid holidays. Most routes are 24 hours or less to help maintain work-life balance, with evening dispatch and weekend work common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required.
• Food and/or beverage delivery experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices).
• Maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer and warehouse yard.
• Develops good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
