RLW Express Inc. in Missouri is seeking an experienced truck driver to support our supply chain logistics team. You will drive overnight, be home daily, and work six nights per week to meet delivery schedules.

You will inspect vehicles, plan routes, log hours, input data into our system, comply with regulations, and handle loading/unloading with accuracy. CDL A is required with a doubles endorsement; a clean driving record is preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive overnight and home daily
Six night work week
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
Input macros into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

Proven work experience as a truck driver
1 year tractor/trailer experience
Valid truck driving license
Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
No recent moving or driving violations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
No felony convictions
