Job summary

Altec is actively seeking a Transportation CDL Driver to deliver trucks, parts, and equipment to customers and Altec locations. The role requires meeting federal/state CDL requirements, loading and securing cargo, and maintaining accurate records for each delivery.

Candidates should be able to travel extensively (75%+), be willing to fly, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while supporting customers and Altec locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Class A CDL license required.
• Available for extensive overnight travel.
• Travel greater than 75% of the time; willing to fly when needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet all Federal and State requirements for certification and CDL licensing.
• Properly load, unload, and secure cargo.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage.
• Collect delivery instructions and verify routes.
• Complete paperwork for delivery of freight, equipment, units and parts.
• Maintain a daily duty status record per regulations.
