Job summary

J+M Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver / Equipment Operator to join our team. The role involves operating a dump truck, loading and transporting heavy materials, and performing routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

Candidates should be familiar with commercial driving regulations, able to handle on-site equipment, and prepared to work Saturdays. Virginia-focused projects are noted, with emphasis on safety and hands-on work in civil

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must pass drug test/screening.
• Must be able to perform daily pre/post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle.
• Must comply with truck maintenance and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump truck to load and transfer heavy equipment and materials.
• Deliver and move materials to designated sites per job requirements.
• Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and report any issues.
• Follow all commercial driving regulations and safety guidelines.
• Be available to work Saturdays as needed.

J+M Infrastructure is a Civil-Site & Utilities Contractor, who excels in Civil Construction and Site Development Contracting, with an emphasis on Utilities, and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, and storm drainage throughout Central and Southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver / Equipment Operator. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, and be willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Requirements:

• Running, loading, and transferring of heavy equipment
• Must drive dump truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• The familiarity of roads in the area is preferred
• Must be able to make daily pre/post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle in order to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or work parts or for any signs of tampering
• Must be able to comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver’s Handbook
• Must be a Virginia resident
• Must be a leader who is looking to grow
• Must pass drug test/screening
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required
• Previous dump truck experience is required
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
