Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Santa Rosa, CA. You will deliver and recover equipment to customer sites, operating a flatbed or RGN/lowboy trailer in urban, suburban, and rural environments. The job requires safe driving in tight construction zones and involves minor on-site repairs as needed.

Education preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent; CDL Class A with a clean record. Knowledge of handling heavy equipment and strong customer service attitude are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Education/experience that prepares you for success: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's license with CDL License and acceptable driver's record.
• Experience with similar commercial equipment preferred.
• Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites.
• Customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite.
• Drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed or RGN/lowboy trailer in diverse conditions.
• Drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites.
