Job summary

MedTrans, the Medline private fleet, is hiring a Driver to operate a Class A vehicle delivering medical products to customers in Alabama. You will load, secure, and deliver shipments, while maintaining logs and following safety regulations.

Responsibilities include providing on-site customer support, communicating with dispatch to optimize routes, and performing vehicle inspections. A CDL and clean driving record are required, with a typical pay range of $22.00–$32.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must meet all Federal and State requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers and supply required documentation at delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team to adjust routes or schedules as needed.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adequate fuel levels for continued operation.
