4-Horn Trench & Shoring is seeking a professional CDL Driver to operate an F-450 truck with gooseneck trailer, loading and moving trench safety equipment between branch and client locations. This position emphasizes safety, timely delivery, and maintenance of the vehicle.

Requires a Class A CDL, ability to pass DOT physical and drug tests, and at least one year of commercial driving experience. Crane certification is also required where applicable.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Produces service tickets, time sheets, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
• Completes DOT inspections and logs as required by law.
• Promotes safety as an ambassador; maintains truck appearance and notifies management of deficiencies.
• Maintains all training related to the job; performs other duties as required.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The CDL Driver operates an F-450 truck with gooseneck trailer to load and move trench safety equipment, to and from branch and client locations in a safe and legal manner. This position ensures that all equipment pick-up and delivery needs of the branch are conducted in an efficient, safe, accurate, and timely manner. This position also manages the maintenance of the vehicle, both inside and out. This position also is required to hold a crane certification.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Loads/unloads equipment, using forklifts, delivering the equipment between branch and client locations
• Act as a liaison between customers, and other departments of the branch, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment delivery
• Produce all required service tickets, time sheets, and other work documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
• Produce all DOT inspections, logs, and documentation, as required by law, to branch management as required
• Be an ambassador for safety, making sure all work and driving is done in the safest manner
• Maintain truck appearance and maintenance communicating with branch management any vehicle deficiencies
• Maintain all types and levels of job-related training as required
• Performs other duties as required by Management

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must have a "Class A" CDL
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical and all required drug and alcohol screenings
• Must have a minimum of one-year commercial truck driving experience
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record for insurance coverage purposes
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Must have a basic understanding of truck maintenance concepts
• High school diploma preferred
