People Source Staffing is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Delivery Driver for a physically demanding role based out of Mechanicsville, VA. You will perform backdoor store deliveries and assist with hand unloading approx 1,400+ cases per full trailer, delivering to 3-5 stores daily, with a ride-along helper and unloading equipment.

Schedule is Monday through Friday with 10-hour shifts, start between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM, home daily on most routes, overtime after 50 hours, and 3 layovers weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Capable of lifting ~30 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
• Willing to participate in overnight layovers as needed.
• Strong safety record and commitment to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including manual-transmission trucks.
• Complete backdoor deliveries to assigned store locations.
• Assist with hand unloading freight at each delivery location.
• Safely and repeatedly lift approximately 30 lbs throughout the shift.
• Properly use roller racks, hand trolls, and unloading equipment.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain driver logs and delivery records.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules or delays.
• Follow all safety requirements and interact professionally with customers.

People Source Staffing is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Delivery Driver for a physically demanding delivery position based out of Mechanicsville, VA. This is not a drop-and-hook position. Drivers are responsible for making backdoor store deliveries and assisting with the hand unloading of approximately 1,400+ cases per full trailer. Drivers typically deliver to 3-5 stores per day. A ride-along helper is provided, along with roller racks and hand trollies to assist with unloading. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work and able to safely lift an average of 30 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.

Schedule & Route Details

• Monday through Friday
• Start and finish in Mechanicsville, VA
• Average dispatch time between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM
• Average 10-hour shifts
• Overtime available after 50 hours
• Typically 3-5 store deliveries per day
• Home daily for most routes
• Account requires 3 layovers per week, which are covered through driver volunteers and/or a scheduled rotation
• Day cab with 48-ft trailer
• Fleet includes both manual and automatic transmissions

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Must be comfortable operating manual and automatic transmissions
• Must be physically capable of handling a high-volume, touch-freight delivery route
• Ability to repeatedly lift approximately 30 lbs
• Comfortable working early morning start times
• Willing and able to participate in required overnight layover rotation
• Strong safety record and commitment to DOT regulations
• Dependable attendance and ability to work Monday through Friday

Drivers should be prepared to assist with unloading approximately 1,400+ cases per full trailer while completing multiple store deliveries each day.
