Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Regional Driver (Greater Midwest) to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials across assigned routes, with potential local routes in the future. This position can be based out of Jefferson, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; or Minneapolis, MN.

The driver will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain digital logs, handle loading and unloading, ensure proper load securement, and comply with DOT regulations while supporting dispatch

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable form of transportation.
• Consent to MVRS screening, background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen (THC).
• Random drug screening after employment as part of safety program.
• Pass the company physical.
• Available to work flexible hours Mon–Fri, with Saturdays as needed, including long-distance travel and overnight stays.
• Overtime flexibility and safety-sensitive role handling hazardous materials.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles including tanker, tractor-trailers and box trucks.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain digital logs of hours, service and repair status per DOT rules.
• Complete manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Secure loads for safe transportation.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.

In this role you will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tanker, tractor-trailers and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
  
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
  
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
  
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
  
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum of 1+ yearsof commercial driving experience with a clean driving record
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
  
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
  
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  
• Must be able to pass the company physical
  
• Must be available to work flexible hours Monday through Friday, with Saturday availability as needed, including long-distance travel and overnight stays
  
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
  
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste.This role is considered safety-sensitive
  
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience in environmental services or related field
• Tanker experience preferred
