Job summary

Total Safety U.S., Inc. is hiring a DOT Driver to join a safety-focused team in the Corpus Christi area. The driver will operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver and retrieve equipment to customer sites, comply with DOT/FMCSR regulations, and document activities accurately.

The role requires 12 months of verifiable DOT driving, a valid CDL with Hazmat, a current DOT medical card, and forklift certification. Equal opportunity employer with safety and operational excellence at the core.

Qualifications

• 12 months verifiable DOT driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Valid DOT medical examiner's certificate with at least 3 months before expiration.
• Must be insurable for Total Safety vehicle insurance.
• Satisfactory driving record per FMCSR and company policies.
• Manufacturer field level training and certification in respiratory and instrumentation.
• Commercial driver’s license with HAZMAT endorsement (Class A/B/C as required).
• Must pass internal forklift training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial truck and various trailers to pick up, haul, and unload equipment and supplies to job sites and customer locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and weekly inspections on non-DOT trucks; address safety concerns.
• Complete required DOT and company documentation accurately and timely; obtain customer signatures for invoicing.
• Inspect equipment for damage or wear; perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Assist in loading/unloading and stocking, and support other facility tasks as needed.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
