Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a CDL A delivery driver in Florence, SC to ensure safe and accurate deliveries. You will conduct thorough load checks, secure cargo, and document each delivery with photos, while coordinating with a material handler for unloading.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with regulations, and timely customer invoicing. Pre-employment and random drug screens are required, with Hazmat endorsement preferred. This on-site position may include warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A is required.
• Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (common cargo: shingles).
• Pre-employment and random drug screens are required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries with a focus on safety and timeliness.
• Document each delivery and upload photos via camera-phone system.
• Complete load checks and secure all materials per regulations.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler to place and unload materials.
• Prepare and file logs and government paperwork accurately.
• Provide customer with invoice at delivery and collect COD where applicable.
• Possible warehouse duties including loading/unloading as assigned.
