Velocity TruckingPros LLC is seeking regional CDL-A drivers to run dry van freight on a dedicated lane from Ocala, FL to multiple Florida metros. Expect 3–4 turns per week with 3–5 stops per load and a 34-hour reset at home.

Guaranteed pay starts at $1,400 per week with averages around $1,420 and top tiers near $1,470. Loads pay $0.60–$0.87 per mile, with straightforward unloading procedures and standard DOT screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience in the last 6 months.
• Valid Class A CDL and up-to-date DOT Medical Card.
• Must be able to lift and roll 50 lb boxes.
• Clean MVR, and pass DOT drug screenings; background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional CDL-A routes trucking dry van freight.
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Unload or hand offload cargo as required (boxes up to 50 lbs; no lumpers).
• Be home weekly with a 34-hour reset as part of the schedule.

Position Overview:

We're filling dedicated regional seats running dry van freight out of Ocala, FL down to Tampa, Orlando, Fort Myers, Miami, and the Keys. You'll average 3 to 4 turns weekly with 3 to 5 stops per load.

• Guaranteed Pay: $1,400 weekly minimum guarantee (when available 5.5 days)
• Weekly Averages: $1,420 average ($1,470 top weekly tier)
• Rates: $0.60 to $0.87 CPM
• Unloading: Hand offloading using rollers (boxes up to 50 lbs; no lumpers)
• Home Time: Home weekly for a 34-hour reset

Requirements & Next Steps

• Driving History: Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience in the last 6 months.
• Licensing & Physicality: Valid Class A CDL, up-to-date DOT Medical Card, and physical ability to lift and roll 50 lb boxes.
