Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is hiring a Class A bulk driver at our Minneapolis, MN site. The role loads/unloads trucks, delivers chemicals, and adheres to DOT safety standards while maintaining accurate paperwork.

Qualified candidates have 1-3 years of bulk driving, a valid Class A CDL with tanker/HAZMAT endorsements, and the ability to drive manual transmission. Travel up to 20% and a competitive hourly wage are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years bulk driving experience required
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Class A CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements preferred
• Ability to drive manual transmission

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to internal and external customer sites professionally
• Know equipment and processes for handling, storing, shipping and transporting hazardous materials per DOT standards
• Complete required shipping, receiving and inventory paperwork accurately
• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of vehicles and equipment
• Adhere to product quality and safety standards and report incidents as needed
• Communicate safety, equipment, and compliance needs to supervisors
• Operate safely and in accordance with SOPs and environmental, safety, and health regulations
• Perform other related duties as needed
