Job summary

The City of Lincoln is seeking a Bulk Powder Driver to transport cement powder from cement mills to batch plants in Littlerock, CA. The role requires operating a multi-axle double-trailer truck safely and in compliance with DOT and company rules.

You will unload at batch plants, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure loads, maintain PPE, and communicate professionally with supervisors and plant personnel.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A license with current medical.
• Tanker endorsement.
• Reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record (no reckless driving offences, DUIs, leaving the scene).
• No more than 1.5 active points in last 36 months.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and complete tasks on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk truck safely per DOT/Holliday rules.
• Unload cement at batch plant safely and efficiently.
• Report issues while unloading at batch plant.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Secure hatches and hoses; adjust equipment as needed.
• Always wear all required PPE.
• Work up to 16 hours, max 11 driving hours per day per Hours-of-Service.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and plant personnel.
