Job summary

Fisher Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Class A CDL Belly Dump Truck Driver to haul aggregates to job sites. You will operate and maintain equipment, perform pre-trip inspections, and adapt to day or night shifts with extensive travel and overtime.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement, a minimum of 1 year driving experience, a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug testing. Fisher is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement or the ability to acquire endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Extended out-of-town travel/work may be required.
• Nightshift and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
• Exercises good judgment regarding work site access, unloading, and operation to and from work sites
• Performs routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, report defects and repairs to maintenance department
• Conducts daily pre-trip inspection of truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, and oil
• Comply with all DOT, state, and local traffic and highway laws, rules and regulations and safely operate all equipment
• Operates other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required

• Perform other duties as assigned
