Job summary

Capital Waste Services is hiring a CDL driver to operate Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load and ASL trucks for waste collection services across our service areas. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and strong customer interactions.

Qualified candidates hold a CDL A or B with at least two years of experience, a valid medical card, and the ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check. Overnight or weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with at least 2 years of driving experience in garbage truck industry (rear load, ASL, roll off, or front end).
• Safe driving record to be verified through DMV.
• Valid Medical Certification required.
• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, or ASL trucks to collect and transport waste materials.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading following safety regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with team and supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service during public interactions.
