Job summary

RJ MacLean Energy Services is seeking an experienced Class 1 Semi-Vac Truck Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate Semi Vac/Hydro Vac/Combo Vac units, perform daily inspections, and ensure compliance with safety protocols across project sites in the United States.

Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 license with a clean abstract, have manual transmission experience (13/18 speed), and pass pre-employment safety checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with a Class 1 license and clean abstract.
• Experience operating Semi Vac / Hydro Vac / Combo Vac units.
• 13 or 18 speed manual transmission experience.
• Instructor certified First Aid & H2S Alive.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Fit to Work & Drug Alcohol Testing.
• Physically able to enter/exit vehicle, inspect under vehicle/trailer, and climb.
• Willingness to travel and work rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements.
• Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documents.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices.
• Maintain valid safety tickets & site orientations as required.
