Job summary

Clark Warehouse Tire & Auto is seeking an Automotive General Service Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks that keep vehicles safe and reliable. You will mount, balance, and install tires, change oil, and handle fluid services while documenting findings and supporting shop operations.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems; PC-based diagnostic tools and/or digital inspections are a plus.
• Previous automotive maintenance/repair experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires with precision and care.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid flushes, belt and hose replacements, battery testing and installation, and general repairs.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections and document findings.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of shop equipment, including servicing portable fluid drains.
• Expand automotive knowledge and technical skills for career development.
• Perform additional duties to support shop operations and team success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Mount, balance, and install tires with precision and care.

What You’ll Bring with You:

• Basic understanding of automotive systems; experience with PC-based diagnostic tools and/or digital inspections are a plus.
• Previous experience in automotive maintenance or repair is preferred, but not required.

• Must be able to lift and move work‑related items up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head‑neck‑shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
