Job summary

Staffmark in Gardena, CA is hiring a Clamp Truck Operator to safely transport materials and support inventory movement in our busy warehouse.

You will operate clamp trucks and forklifts, load and organize palletized goods, and help maintain efficient distribution operations while upholding safety standards. Preferred candidates have a HS diploma or GED, warehouse training, and prior experience with powered industrial equipment; opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
• Experience operating clamp trucks or forklifts safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Shift: 5 AM – 2 PM, Monday-Friday

Clamp Truck Operator Experience Requirements

• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
