Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking a workers’ compensation specialist II–IV to service the territory including Indiana and Pennsylvania. The role handles medical-only and lost-time claims, requiring strong investigation and claims-handling skills to support insureds and claimants.

Applicants should have experience in workers’ compensation, preferably with an associate or bachelor’s degree, and must possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience with Indiana and/or Pennsylvania workers’ compensation claims.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of jurisdiction laws, procedures and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication; problem-solving and negotiation; organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview insureds, claimants and witnesses.
• Review hospital records.
• Evaluate claim facts and application of workers’ compensation statutes.
• Perform medical management of claims files.
• Prepare reports of findings and secure claims completion with claimants.
• Use claims-handling software, laptop and phone to adjust losses in a paperless environment.
• Provide superior and professional customer service.

Our Claims Workers’ Compensationdepartment seeks an experienced workers' compensation specialist II-lVto service the territory including Indiana and Pennsylvania. The candidate is required to have experience in Indiana and/or Pennsylvania workers’ compensation claims. This position will handle medical-only and lost-time workers' compensation claims.

The pay range for this position is$53,500 - $90,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge,skillsand abilities.Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
