Sentry invites qualified candidates for a Claims Technician role in Nashville, TN, with hybrid work flexibility. The position supports the claims team by processing invoices, scheduling medical appointments, and preparing forms for submission, while coordinating with customers, vendors, attorneys, and internal staff to move claims toward resolution.
Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; customer service experience is highly preferred.
Working as a Claims Technician, you’ll provide critical support to the claims team, assisting with tasks that range from moderate to advance in complexity.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, processing claim payments, scheduling medical appointments, and preparing various forms and documents for mailing or electronic submission. You will also manage incoming and outgoing mail, assist with tasks within the claims system, and monitor shared mailboxes to ensure timely follow‑up. In this role, you’ll collaborate with customers, vendors, attorneys, and internal claims associates to help resolve issues and support the efficient progression of claims toward resolution.
This position will be located at our Nashville, TN or Davenport, IA office following the hybrid work model and is NOT available for remote work.
