Location: Sacramento, CA fully onsite. Pay: $20-$23/hour. Contract 2 months with potential to extend.

Position Overview

A healthcare organization is seeking two Claims Specialists to provide temporary support to its claims operations team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in healthcare administration, medical billing, insurance, benefits, or claims who are comfortable working with detailed information and managing a steady volume of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process healthcare claims for accuracy and completeness
• Enter, verify, and update claims information within internal systems
• Research discrepancies, missing information, and processing exceptions
• Review eligibility and benefit information when processing claims
• Maintain accurate documentation of claims activity and decisions
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround expectations
• Partner with internal teams to resolve claims-related questions
• Follow internal procedures and applicable healthcare requirements
