Humana Inc. is seeking a Claims Research & Resolution Representative to join its Puerto Rico team. You will work with providers, members, and third-party services to resolve complex medical claims, verify documentation, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
The role offers remote work with occasional travel to Humana offices for training; requires English fluency and Puerto Rico residency, with a 9-month probation and 18-month tenure window. Training starts December 2026.

Virtual training begins in December 2026 and will last for approximately 8 weeks. Training will be held Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Eastern Time. Attendance is vital for success; no time off is allowed during training or the first 120 days.
Following training and a post-training support period, you must be able to work Monday through Friday between 6:00 am and 5:30 pm Eastern. Hours are subject to change based on business needs. This position incudes a 9-month probationary period. During which you and the manager assess how well you meet the requirements of the new position and work with our organization. This position requires learning many systems, policies, and tools, and it takes time to become proficient in the role. You must be willing to remain in this position for a period of eighteen (18) months before applying to other Humana opportunities.
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $34,400 - $45,000 per year
