Job summary

Canon Business Process Services in Lake Oswego, Oregon is seeking a Claims Clerk to review insurance claim forms for accuracy and completeness, and to obtain missing information as needed. The role interfaces with adjusters, agents and insured customers and supports client systems.

You will prepare reports and claim forms for damage or loss, assist imaging and disposition, and handle routine clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance claim forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Interface with Adjuster, Agent and insured to obtain information.
• Prepare reports and insurance claim forms for damage or loss.
• Prepare documents for imaging and final disposition by client staff.
• Monitor email boxes and client systems to fulfill requests.
• Records routine claims and acts as intermediary between company and insured.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
