The role oversees daily operations, sets policies, and ensures regulatory compliance, with a focus on mentoring, reporting, system updates, and performance standards. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a claims environment.
• Strong knowledge of claims administration, regulations, and processing systems.
• Ability to develop employees and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily claims processing operations and departmental workflow.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround standards are met.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Claims Department employees.
• Assign work, evaluate performance, and support employee development.
• Establish and maintain claims processing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain and update health plans within the claims processing system.
• Coordinate system updates, edits, and coding changes.
• Generate and review productivity and performance reports.
