Society Insurance is seeking a Summer 2027 intern to join our Claims team in Fond du Lac, WI. The internship runs full-time with a hybrid work model and 40 hours per week, focusing on developing technical knowledge, job shadowing, and completing projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, are junior or senior undergraduates with a 3.0+ GPA, and have prior office experience. The program offers an award-winning internship, hands-on experience, networking, and potential

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
• Full-time junior or senior status.
• 3.0 or better cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Prior office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate, copy, print and distribute letters, forms, files, reports and other pertinent documentation for claims files.
• Enter information into claims databases and verify coverages.
• Process claims by authorizing payments on medical bills within statutory guidelines.
• Attend claim investigations and workers' compensation hearings to build knowledge.
• Observe and assist with claim investigation, department meetings and related activities.
