You will apply examiner knowledge to determine benefits due, negotiate settlements within authority, and communicate actively with claimants and clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of claims management experience.
• Must be licensed in California or Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process workers' compensation claims to determine exposure and benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
