The position offers a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office per week across multiple US locations, a competitive base salary of $100,000–$110,000 plus a 10% bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Commercial General Liability claims experience.
• Experience with coverage investigation and litigated files.
• Bachelor’s degree required; industry designations (AIC, CPCU, etc.) are a plus.
• Background with a reputable carrier or law firm.

• Handle complex CGL claims including premises liability, slip & falls and other bodily injury cases.
• Handle coverage matters including writing own coverage letters and coverage decisions
• Manage litigated files, coordinating defense counsel and driving strategy through to resolution
• Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement exposure on higher-severity claims
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, insureds, attorneys, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices

A leading insurance carrier is seeking an experienced Claims Examiner to join their General Liability team. This is a technical role handling mid to complex Commercial General Liability claims across a diverse portfolio. You will manage claims from first notice through resolution, with a strong focus on coverage analysis, litigation strategy, and stakeholder management.

• Handle complex CGL claims including premises liability, slip & falls and other bodily injury cases
• Handle coverage matters including writing own coverage letters and coverage decisions
• Manage litigated files, coordinating defense counsel and driving strategy through to resolution
