Encova Insurance has an immediate opening for a Claims Business Analyst for our Columbus, Ohio corporate location. In this role, you will work a hybrid schedule and as such, the expectation is that you reside within a reasonable commute to our office.
We can hire at multiple seniority levels depending on candidate qualifications and the posted compensation range is inclusive of all levels.
As a Business Analyst II, you must have a minimum of two years of experience working with Guidewire ClaimCenter. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of commercial coverage experience, two years of claims business process experience, and attainment of the Guidewire Certified Associate certification.
As a Business Analyst III, you must have a minimum of three years of experience working with Guidewire ClaimCenter. Preferred qualifications include at least three years of commercial coverage experience, three years of claims business process experience, attainment of the Guidewire Certified Associate certification, and experience with Cloud Integration Framework implementations or support.

To serve as a liaison between the business groups and IT, working closely with business partners to enable business success through IT solutions. The IT Business Analyst primary responsibility is to formulate and define requirements based on user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems. They also serve as key partners to the IT Quality Assurance team to ensure requirements are converted to effective test plans, and to System Analyst, Architects, Development Teams and Project Managers for decisions on the design of technology solutions to meet the business requirements.
