Claims Adjuster III-Auto and General Liability

About the Role

At AIG, we are reimagining how we help customers manage risk. Join us as a Claims Adjuster III – Auto and General Liability to develop your skills and be a valued team member.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate general and auto liability claims with high customer service standards.
  • Contact insureds promptly and follow up to ensure timely reserves and claim resolution.
  • Analyze coverage, evaluate liability and damages, and establish reserves.
  • Manage a diary system to efficiently resolve cases.
  • Communicate updates and reserves to brokers, insureds, and underwriters.
  • Attend mediations and participate in strategy discussions.
  • Manage litigation processes and coordinate with defense counsel for cost-effective outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Preferred 4 years of auto or general liability claims experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Property and casualty licenses required within 6 months of hire.
