Claims Adjuster - Attorney Represented Injury

Join us to apply for the Claims Adjuster - Attorney Represented Injury role at Progressive Insurance.

This position involves managing attorney-represented bodily injury claims. The ideal candidate has experience handling claims independently, assessing liability, coverage, damages, and working directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. You'll be supported by a collaborative team committed to your growth.

This is a hybrid role, requiring reporting to an office approximately four days per month for meetings, training, and collaboration. In-office work is also an option for those who prefer it.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Determine coverage and liability
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
• Settle claims and establish reserves
• Estimate treatment or compensation costs
• Analyze medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage the claims process
• Interview and document information from claimants, agents, attorneys, and police

Minimum Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• OR Associate's degree with three years relevant experience and one year in claims handling
• OR Bachelor's degree with one year in claims handling
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required

Preferred Skills

• Auto and/or commercial insurance experience

Location

Open to claims offices in Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, Asheville, and Greensboro, NC.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $61,400 - $79,400/year
• Gainshare incentive up to 16%
